As one of the Directors of Camp Healing Tree in Indianapolis, I
want to thank you for donating a LOV Notes Interactive Living Memorial
for use at our annual grief camp for over eighty young people in
Central Indiana. We were so pleased to add LOV Notes to the activities
we provide to enable growth and healing.
LOV Notes fit beautifully with our philosophy of healthy grief
expression.
Not only did we encourage our campers to use LOV Notes, we also
encouraged our 175+ volunteers to take time during the weekend to
express their care for loved ones who have died. Many of the volunteers
"dedicate" their service to the memory of someone precious and LOV
Notes provided a "ritual" by which that could be acknowledged. Many
campers also utilized LOV Notes as a means of communicating their
emotions. We intend to make LOV Notes an annual part of Camp Healing
Tree and we are grateful for your generosity and support.

Just a note to let you know how much the kids and families love our
LOV Notes.
Even the really young ones understand and use it. I am very grateful
and it is wonderful to have another tool to help the children keep
a healthy connection to their loved one.
Blessings,

"Our family was one of the first to be blessed with "LOV Notes".
Losing Chuck, my husband and father of our children was one of the
most difficult situations I've ever had to go through. So many thoughts
were never expressed, so many words were unspoken. Our family often
wished to have a phone line or some kind of connection to communicate
with Chuck. We needed to be able to continue sharing our lives with
him in some form. I would often write letters, but had nowhere to
mail them. Then some dear friends, who had experienced many losses
in their lives developed "LOV Notes". We finally had a way to communicate
with Chuck. It's nice to take flowers to your loved one's gravesite,
but to be able to leave something of yourself is somehow very healing
in the grief process. Now my children can take their "LOV Notes"
to their Dad and express their feelings in a tangible way. We as
a society don't take the time we need to grieve. "LOV Notes" gives
a person the opportunity to work through their grief by being able
to continue to communicate the love they still hold within. "LOV
Notes" has been a wonderful, healing gift to our family."

"LOV Notes did something for my mom that nothing else could do, and
that was to give her a place to connect to the memory of her son,
you have no idea how much that helped her the last year of her life",
and for what LOV Notes did for my mom I will always be thankful."

"My siblings and I lost our mother almost 10 years ago very suddenly.
Her body was cremated and there was never a "burial" because we spread
her ashes somewhere special. So we never had a place to go that we
could "talk" to her, or put flowers at her grave. It was difficult
to go back to the place that her ashes were spread because it wasn't
always available to us to have some privacy and peace. Now that we
have a LOV Notes unit at our home, she really is available to us at
any time. I feel like I have a place to go, and that it will be private.
I now can put flowers around it in my garden, and my letters to her
can never be read. From the moment that she passed away I have been
writing to her, and I have kept all of it. Now I have a place that
I can send those thoughts off to, and I know that she sees them. I
am so thankful for this wonderful creation that is known as LOV Notes.
It really has helped me to continue on my relationship with her, and
feel connected to her spirit. It won't bring her back, but it also
allows a part of her to stay with me, and having the LOV Notes in
my garden has made that so much more of a reality to me. Thank you
LOV Notes for what you have given me, and my family."

"As a Certified Grief Counselor, I personally found the medium of
the written word to be an important part of my ongoing process with
learning to manage my grief."
"The ingenuity of LOV Notes enhances the grieving process by offering
the opportunity to express sorrows and joys outside of oneself. Thoughts
and feelings can be written or drawn.providing an ongoing outlet for
managing the loss of a loved one."

Dear Gary and Robin,
"Many patients do need an avenue of closing and/or maintaining a dialogue
with their departed loved ones. LOV Notes from my personal experience
can be a tremendous source of consolation. We live in memories; to
be able to physically respond to our feelings through a LOV Note can
serve as a deep personal and spiritual healing. Thank you for your
efforts in helping others. Many are waiting for your LOV Notes".
Sincerely yours,

"Hi Robin, you and Gary have a wonderful product here that offers
much consolation to those of us who continue to grieve and feel the
loss of a loved one no matter how much time has passed. It is helping
many people in our large family deal with the loss of those we loved
so much! And what peace there is when I can put them into the RECEIVER
one at a time! It really helped feel like I was truly connecting with
her"

"I think the LOV Notes concept is one of the most family satisfying
items I have seen. Having been widowed 20 years ago...I would have
loved a LOV Note piece for my husband. I went to the cemetery everyday
until I moved away. I think a LOV Note could have been the answer
for me, personally."
